John is the heart of TOAST, Four Corners, and he brings his love of food to your table. After spending 20 years in the Insurance Industry, John decided to embark on a new career that focused on one of his passions - good food! Can you guess which two meals of the day are his favorites??
Having attended Florida State University, John developed a taste for the comfort foods of the south, and he's bringing his favorites to you. Be on the lookout for the likes of biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles and cheesy grits. Of course he'll have a wonderful selection of the classics - pancakes, waffles and omelets. What's his favorite you might ask? Why that would be his own creation called "The Pile". Stop by to see what "The Pile" is all about!
Meet John Reuber:
A second passion of John's is his love of sports - specifically
college sports - more specifically, Florida State football! So what does that mean? Well, John lives in a house divided. The rest of John's family are big Husky fans or Husky alumni, and of course - you're in UConn territory!! Be sure to check out "The Husky Room" at Toast Four Corners. It's loaded with Husky memorabilia, but don't be surprised if you see a Florida State reference show up every once in a while! Let's all work on John to bring him over to "our side".
